That thing

(wallpaper)

“Honey is no Love left in the cupboards,

do you have any idea if they still sell it, and where?”

“It must be the church, don’t you think?”

“God’s house doesn’t sell anything, honey,

you obviously missed Jesus’s recommendations.”

“Let’s try the supermarket then,

they probably have it on offer.”

“It is the right aisle, it says Love on the label,

but all the shelves are empty!

Excuse me, Sir, you look like you know your way around,

is it any Love left, please? Are you going to bring more from the warehouse?”

“To tell you the truth, we didn’t have Love in stock for more

than a decade now, but whatever we fill these shelves with

is selling like gold.”

“So, what are you going to fill these shelves with now?”

“Tea.”

“Tea?”

“Yes. Tea.”

“I’ll have two packs, please.”

“But, honey, that’s tea, not Love! We came here to look for Love,

we have plenty of tea at home.”

“I know, dear, but I would like to try some of this new range.”

“Now that the cupboards are full again,

are you going to join me for a cup of tea?”

“I’d love to.”
